Using Schedule Booking Wizard with PASS-IPA

FX Itinerary planning can be called from Schedule Booking Wizard as needed.

Before you begin

Trip Booking must be open.

About this task

Depending on your transit agency's policy, you may want to offer clients a fixed route solution for their trip. This can be done from Schedule Booking Wizard using FX Itinerary Planning.

Procedure

  1. Search for and select a client.
  2. Set up a trip for the client.
    Define a pick-up (Origin) location, a drop-off (Destination) location, and an origin REQ time.
  3. Click the Save button:
    Diskette.
  4. Click the Schedule button:
    Three times: 1:07, 1:10, and 1:40.
    If a message asks to reschedule the booking, click Yes. The Schedule Booking Wizard appears.
  5. Click the FX Itinerary Planning button:
    Grid with binoculars in the lower-right corner.
    Itinerary Planning appears.
  6. On the Detail tab, if a suitable fixed route solution is found, advise the client of the best (or any) available options.
