Specifying the Mobile Computer Vendor

Before working with MDT Server, specify your mobile computer vendor.

About this task

The mobile computer vendor is the manufacturer of the hardware that is installed in your vehicles.

Procedure

  1. In the mobile computer file directory, click the _MdtSel.bat file.
    _MdtSel.bat should be in the folder containing your Trapeze4 installation files.
    A screen appears that lists the names of the mobile computer vendors with a corresponding number.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, type the number that corresponds to your mobile computer vendor and press ENTER.
    The system selects the appropriate .dll file and you are prompted to press any key to continue.
  3. Press any key.
    The screen closes.
