Defining Context Properties

Trapeze6 Properties (also called context properties) control the system appearance and behavior of PASS and other Trapeze applications.

About this task

You can view and change Trapeze6 properties as required to control the functionality of modules and overall system settings.

Only system administrators should modify these properties. Do not attempt to change property values unless you understand the impact. Changing a single property can adversely affect components such as searching, data entry, and the system map.

Trapeze recommends that you contact Trapeze Customer Care before adjusting context property settings.

Procedure

  1. In the Trapeze6 Client Shell, click Tools > Properties.
Depending on how your system was set up, Properties may be found in a different location.
    The Properties tab appears.
  2. In the left pane, click the Properties folder.
  3. Click the arrow to the left of each folder to view properties within the folder.
  4. In the right pane, specify values for the properties as needed.
A description of the property appears at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Click the Save button:
    Diskette.
