PASS

PASS is an advanced scheduling and dispatching application developed to support the coordinated transportation efforts of demand response transit services.

PASS release note tables have been divided by category for easy reference to the software.

PASS tasks may be found in TP4 release notes or in TP6 release notes.

Switches

Switches turn specific system functionality on and off, or modify how the system functionality works.

Switches are found in different places in the system. For example, in the Trapeze6 Service Shell in and in the Trapeze4 Workstation. Typically, when a switch is seen in multiple locations, its settings should match in all places.

Security Permissions

Security permissions define features within PASS to which users can either be given access or denied access.

Security permissions are found in the Trapeze6 Client Shell and in web-based interfaces.
Version Type Description ID
TP4 21.21.0.0

Fixed an issue where runs meant for testing were still being used as solutions in the Schedule Booking Wizard when trips were booked. This occurred due to some confusion with the logic caused by Trapeze4 > Real Time Scheduling > View Other Providers Records and Trapeze4 > Schedule Wizard > View All Providers security permissions.

Now, Trapeze4 > Schedule Wizard > View All Providers was removed and Trapeze4 > Schedule Wizard > View Partially Owned Transfer Solutions was added. This permission will allow users who do not have Trapeze4 > RealTimeScheduling > ViewOtherProvidersRecords permission set to Allow, and accept transfer solutions with at least one leg from a provider they have permission to see.

The missing subscription trips did not match the polygon type, therefore should have been activated for the schedule days.

  • AddPassFareTypeId - this field represents the default fare type that will be applied to all additional passengers for the trip.
