Cases and Infractions

Cases and Infractions are two tabs in Service Infractions.

Enhancements and corrections to Cases and Infractions typically concern system users.

To use this feature, the security permission PassEligibility/Service Infractions/Screens/Infractions must be granted.

In Service Infractions, on the Infractions tab, the following filters can be used to search for infractions:
  • Start Date (mandatory)
  • End Date (mandatory)
  • Policy, Client, Location (one of which is mandatory)
  • Stage
  • Location Type
  • Schedule Status
  • Para. Service
  • Provider
  • Purpose
  • Infraction Status

Use Display to show matching infractions and Reset to clear filter values.

After infractions are identified, the following options are available:
  • Confirm
  • Confirm All
  • Confirm Undecideds
  • Forgive
  • Forgive All
  • Forgive Undecideds

Specifically, all cases or all unassigned cases in a selected Investigation phase can be assigned to a specific user.

6.5 ENH When creating a behavioral infraction, the default date is now current. The dropdown in the dialog will display a list of relevant trips for the client from which you may choose. All trips will be displayed, regardless of scheduling status.
6.5 ENH For critical behavioral infractions, there is now support for invoking a suspension before the end of the appeal window. Also, suspension can be removed if a later appeal is successful.
6.5 ENH The following infraction card improvements have been made:
  • Select and Display controls are now included in the widget bar. These let you display all infractions of a particular type (for example, undecided), so you can select or unselect all displayed infractions.

    For example, you have forgiven one infraction in a case and now wish to confirm all the rest. You would click the display undecided icon, then the select all icon, and then click on the Confirm icon on the top ribbon.

  • For Weather Info, the Locale context property allows you to select whether to display temperatures in centigrade or Fahrenheit.
  • The map will not be available unless valid coordinates exist for all displayed points.
  • Additional information display icon was created. It will only show the alternate IVR phone number, but future information could be added as needed.
6.5 ENH The following enhancements were made to the Infractions tab:
  • You can filter the infractions list to show “issues”, meaning only infractions where there is an apparent reason for considering forgiveness of the infraction. For example, driver not at pickup location for 5 minutes within the pickup window.
  • You can confirm or forgive all infractions returned from a query. For example, all undecided issues in the Warning Investigation phase for a no-show policy.

Together, these two features provide the ability for an agency that chooses not to investigate infractions individually an easy way to forgive all infractions. For example, a driver that did not wait five minutes in the window, and then confirmed all remaining infractions before issuing letters/sanctions to those riders who still meet the threshold criteria.

  • "Additional Trip Info" button for non behavioral infractions is displayed because behavioral infractions already have a "Trip Info" button.
  • The same icon for "Trip Info" on general infractions is used for behavioral infractions.
  • Fixed an issue with point-based behavioral infractions, where points for behavioral types were not set correctly.
  • When adding an infraction to a case:
    • Case creation date is read from Service Infraction's date provider.
    • Today’s date will be selected by default.
    • Display booking id and schedule status.
    • Display RegTime and NegTime from pickup leg.
    • Display standard time format for trip information.
    • Resized dialog box and controls for better display of trip information.
    • Updated address information format for better readability.
