About Trip Broker

Trip Broker is an add-on module for Trapeze PASS used to broker unscheduled trips between multiple providers and send those trips to these providers for their consideration.

External providers like taxi systems can access Trip Broker through a graphical user interface (GUI) in an Internet browser to view, accept, and decline client trips.

Using Trip Broker, you can:
  • Assign and reassign trips to external providers.
  • View trips that have been sent to external providers, trips that have been accepted or declined by a provider, and trips that have been modified and require the provider to accept or decline the trip again.
  • Mark brokered trips as Arrived and Performed.
This guide provides information and procedures for performing system tasks. Although the basics of system screens and procedures apply to most sites, sites often customize their implementations. Note that your screens may differ from those in this guide.

At various places in this guide, you are asked to contact a system administrator for more information. Your site may have an on-site resource who acts as the system administrator. If not, contact Trapeze Customer Care.
