About Installing and Configuring BlockBuster Web

BlockBuster Web needs to be configured properly in order that it can work with other Trapeze products such as Trapeze FX and Run Block Optimizer successfully.

Before performing the installation:
  • Determine which Trapeze components must be installed and configured. The Trapeze4 Workstation must be installed and configured first before any of the other Trapeze modules are to be installed.
  • Determine whether your existing data in FX and related Trapeze products is ready to be used with BlockBuster Web.
  • Determine whether you are using Microsoft SQL or Oracle. The installation instructions are slightly different for each database management system. In most cases, this guide provides instructions for configuring databases to work with Microsoft SQL only.
  • Make sure that your Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) server has been set up and is running. Refer to the appropriate Microsoft documentation for more information.
