The following sections list the Block Optimizer parameters in each Situation by Group:
Run Types (Group)
The Run Types Group is composed of the run types that you have created for your transit site.
Extra Break Time
The Extra Break Time rule is used when you are creating runs with more than one shift break. The rule has to be used in conjunction with the Extra Shift rule; with Block Optimizer parameters, if you do not have an extra break you cannot have an extra shift.
