TDSE Context Properties

Context properties can persist either in an ini file or in the database. Some do not have persistence at all and are always defined at run time.

Please note that blank or default values are not stored, that is, they are skipped in the ini file or database.

The following table explains the different TSDE context properties:
Table 1. TDSE Context Properties
Properties Description
Exchange > TSDE > RoundStopDistances If selected, the distances between stops are rounded to the nearest meter when the data is imported in TSDE. This is selected by default. If not selected, the distance values are not changed, that is, not rounded.
Exchange > TSDE > Export > Export Folder Set the pathname of the folder where you want the export files to be stored.
Exchange > TSDE > Export > Log File Set the file name of the log file, which records the actions or events that occur when TSDE is run.
Exchange > TSDE > Export > Use Supplementary Labels If selected, supplementary data in the selected export files is also exported. This is the default.
Exchange > TSDE > Export > TSDE Export Used Deadheads Only

If selected, only deadheads in the selected data* are exported.

Exchange > TSDE > Export > TSDE Export Used Comments Only If selected, only the points that have time and location data are exported.
Exchange > TSDE > Export > TSDE Export Nodes Only If On, the system exports only the run piece of the selected line group. If Off, the system exports all run pieces of the selected line group.
Exchange > TSDE > Export > Filter Run Piece Only Set the pattern destination for the selected data. (The default is set in the Destination Sign field in the Patterns Edit dialog box of Trapeze FX. It is used in the destination signs on service vehicles associated with the selected pattern.)
Exchange > TSDE > Export > TSDEPatternDestinationField

If selected, the system creates an interline deadhead record in the block export file. If not selected, no interline deadhead record is created. This property is applied when interlining and one line ends at the same node and stop where the other line begins.

Exchange > TSDE > Export > Export Block Deadhead Record For Every Line Change If selected and the data is being exported to the same line, deadhead records are exported. If not selected, the deadhead records are not exported if on the same line.
FX > Use Calculated Deadheads If selected, block event records are not created for Interline deadheads.
FX > UseBlockbuster If selected, only BlockBuster runs are included in the export.
