Tips on Using PASS-IVR

This section provides suggestions on making the best use of the PASS-IVR system for accessing your trip information.

When you call the phone number, listen to the prompts and respond accordingly. You can choose to skip some prompts that do not apply to your query. You may not be able to skip some prompts if the system has not yet processed your response to an earlier prompt or it requires more input from you.

When responding to the prompts, note the numbers given for each option to ensure that you press the right number key.

Prompts can include information on how to:
  • Cancel the selected option and return to the main menu.
  • Return to the previous item that you want to listen to again.
  • Replay the information that you just listened to.

If calling for schedule information, it is recommended that you have the following pieces of information handy to be able to access the results you want more quickly:
  • Origin and destination: Stop name (stop number, if known), street name and number, intersection, or landmark
  • Expected date and time of travel

To end the call, you can hang up at any time or press the number to exit provided in the prompt, for example, 9 on your keypad.
