About PASS Departure Boards
PASS Departure Boards are web-based information screens designed to be displayed at locations with a high number of paratransit pick-ups and/or drop-offs.
PASS Departure Boards can display either or both of the following information:
- Schedule of arriving vehicles with the names of passengers who are about to be dropped off - The boards (monitors) are typically at locations where multiple passengers are dropped off, for example, at a senior center or hospital. The information can help staff at the location prepare what the expected passengers require for their appointments, if any.
- Schedule of departing vehicles and the names of passengers who are to be picked up - The boards are typically at central locations where passengers are picked up at various times. With the information, the passengers can see when they can expect to be picked up and in what order they are in the schedule.
The information can be displayed in one monitor or separate monitors. If using one monitor, the information can be programmed to be presented in a rotating fashion.
PASS Departure Boards allows independent configuration of each board so that it can display different information regarding arrivals and departures such as client names and times in different formats, for example, for time: ETA (3:00pm) or ETE (15 mins), vehicle numbers, and location names.
