DialString Properties

The DialString context properties relate to how the IVR system constructs a dial string when placing an outbound call.

CommonInfo/DialString/ PermitLocalExtensionDialing	If selected, the system allows local extension numbers to be dialed.
CommonInfo/DialString/ CheckSevenDigitDialingRules	If selected, the system searches for Calling Rules with the rule type of ‘7D’ and applies these rules to the dial string.
CommonInfo/DialString/ CheckTenDigitDialingRules	If selected, the system dials the area code when it is included in the Calling rules table.
CommonInfo/DialString/ Permit911Dialing	If selected, the system allows a user to dial 911.
CommonInfo/DialString/ PreserveLongDistPrefix	If selected, the system preserves the long distance prefix when it is encountered in the original dial string.
CommonInfo/DialString/ UseUKDialingRules	If selected, the software uses UK style dialing rules instead of the North American rules.
CommonInfo/DialString/ PreserveLocalCallAreaCode	If selected, the software preserves an area code that is not considered long distance, for example, to enable 10 digit dialing.
CommonInfo/DialString/ PauseBeforeDialingExtension	Sets the length in time (milliseconds) that the system should pause before dialing an extension number.
CommonInfo/DialString/ PausePerCharacter	Sets the length in time (in milliseconds) that the dialing service delays per character in the dial string.This value should match the value of its counterpart in the dialing device.
CommonInfo/DialString/ PauseCharacter	Sets the character that is added in between the phone number and the extension after the external call dial prefix and after the long distance security code.
CommonInfo/DialString/ ExternalCallDialPrefix / PauseAfterPrefix	Sets the length in time (milliseconds) that the system should pause after dialing the prefix.
CommonInfo/DialString/ ExternalCallDialPrefix / PrefixDigits	Sets the prefix to dial before each sequence.
CommonInfo/DialString/ LongDistSecurityCode / CodeDigits	Sets the digits the system dials if a long distance security code is required to dial a long distance phone number.
CommonInfo/DialString/ LongDistSecurityCode / PauseBeforeCode	Sets the length in time (milliseconds) that the system should pause before dialing the security code.
