Map/Address Matcher Context Properties

The Map1 address matching service returns only Trapeze addresses while the Map3 address matching service includes Google map results. The following table highlights some properties that are used by these services:

Sets the Address Matcher Service for the selected Address Matcher configuration: Google or Trapeze4
MAP > AddrMatch > AddressMatcherMatch
Sets how Address Matcher Match behaves for the selected Address Matcher configuration:
  • 0 - No searching with the selected address matcher.
  • 1 - Stop searching if a match is found for an address matcher.
  • 2 - Use all address matchers and return combined results.

    Dependencies must be set.

MAP > AddrMatch > AddressMatcherVerify If set to 1, use for selected Address Matcher configuration.
MAP > AddrMatch > AddressMatcherResultColor Color of search results of selected Address Matcher type.
MAPAddrMatchAddressManagerAddressMatcherList List of Address Matcher Services to be used in the search:
  • Google - Google address matcher
  • Trapeze 4 - Map1 address matching services
    • T4 - Classic Trapeze addresses
    • LOC - Locations/landmarks
    • BUS - Bus stops
    • LINE - FX routes

MAP > AddrMatch > AddressManager > SortResultsByCity If selected, search results are first sorted by place name and by score within the place.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpAddressPoint > Config > DSN Data source name of the Address Point Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpAddressPoint > Config > Login Login name for Address Point Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpAddressPoint > Config > Password Password for Address Point Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLocation > Config > DSN Data source name of the Location Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLocation > Config > Login Login name for Location Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLocation > Config > Password Password for Location Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLocation > Param > AllowAddressOnlySearch If selected, the system searches for locations using only the street name and number of the address provided. This is set to Off by default.
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Enable Nearby Search If selected, when using Google address matcher service, Google Places nearby search is performed. (This is not required. For information on Google's billing on the use of this service, see: https://developers.google.com/places/web-service/usage-and-billing#nearby-search)
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Enable Autocomplete If selected, Google Autocomplete search is performed.
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Params > Result Place Types Sets the Google Place types that are returned in the Address Matcher results. If not provided, all types of addresses are returned.
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Params > Autocomplete > Restrict Results To Countries Sets the limit of the search results returned by Google Address Matching service. A maximum of five countries can be selected. (Countries must be represented using their assigned two-letter ISO 3166-1 Alpha-2 country codes. )
