New Features and Improvements

The following release notes cover new features and enhancements for Traveler Experience modules/products that interface with Trapeze 6 (client shell/service shell).

Twilio Voice Notifications

Voice notifications can now be sent through Twilio. The following updates were made to support the feature:

  • Logic was implemented to send notifications using Twilio.

  • Notification/Delivery/Voice/Platform context property was added. Options are GVP and Twilio. They control which platform to use when sending voice notifications. If set to Twilio, then the same context properties used for Floodgate, in the folder Notification3/IVR Interface/Twilio will be used for configuring the connection.
  • Existing context properties in the Delivery/Voice folder apply only to GVP. The descriptions of these properties have been updated to specify which platforms they support.

Booking Unscheduled Trips for Service Based Scheduling

In PASS-APP, unscheduled solutions for service-based scheduling can now be booked as unscheduled trips. This is also referred to as, “dummy solutions.” The feature allows particular bookings that are unscheduled to only display the requested pick-up or drop-off time, and the (default) text, “Unscheduled Trip” displayed underneath it.
