Trapeze4 Workstation Properties
Workstation properties affect general formats within the workstation.
To access these properties, click Tools > Properties. On the Properties screen, open the Workstation tab.
The following Workstation properties can be configured:
Auto refresh rate (s) - Specifies the frequency in seconds between automatic system refreshes.
Auto search default (persons) - Specifies the default client identification type that is automatically used as search criteria by Find Client functionality, which is invoked from any Client field that has an ellipsis button beside it. (This applies to Trapeze PASS.)
Auto search default (Stops) - (Fixed Route) Specifies how the system should search for data on stops. Search by Abbr (abbreviation), Name, Id, or Substrings.
Auto search delay (ms) - set to 32767 to disable - Specifies the delay time (in milliseconds) before the system starts searching for a match of what has been typed into a search field. The default is 1500 ms. If you find that the system responds too quickly before you have finished typing, set the auto search delay at 2400 ms. To disable the search delay, set it to 32767.
Auto Search Filter Inactive Client - Specifies whether to view only active clients in search lists generated by the system. The database includes files for both active and inactive clients. If set to” No,” typing in a client name field and find clients dialog box generates search results including all clients.
Auto Search Filter Inactive Employee - Specifies whether to prevent employees flagged with an “inactive” status from being assigned to a run or vehicle in the Runs screen or the Vehicle Assignment screen. If set to “No,” inactive employees are included in the lists with active employees and can be selected for run assignment. This applies to Trapeze PASS.
Auto Search Filter Not In Service Stop - Controls the searches of stops using the Fast Find control. If set to Yes, stops that are not in service are not shown in the search results. Stops are considered as not in service when the In Service check box is not selected in the stop record in the Bus Stops screen.
DBA Timeout - Specifies the length of the delay between an idle workstation and its disconnection from the database.
Grid Reports- Defines how grid reports are printed.
Grid Printing Column Selection - Specifies whether to print all columns selected. GridReports Files Path - Defines the path where reports are stored.
Max Items in the Search List - Specifies the maximum number of search results shown for all fast find controls. For example, if you type “500”, the Client fast find control shows only the first 500 results that match your search input. The maximum value is 4000.
Maximize Screens - Species whether to show screens at their maximum size when they are opened. Prompt on Delete - Specifies whether to show a dialog box confirming actions to delete records.
Prompt on Exit - Specifies whether to show a dialog box to confirm the action to exit the Trapeze application. Prompt on Save - Specifies whether to show a dialog box confirm that action to save a record in Trapeze application.
Receive MDT Messages - Specifies whether to enable the Workstation to receive messages from an MDT. Set to “Yes” if the MDT module is installed at your site.
Run maximized - Specifies whether to enforce the Workstation screen to run at its maximum size.
Save Workspace - Specifies whether to automatically save Workstation settings and the position of the map upon exiting.
Show Current Production Signup Warning - Sets a warning and additional information on the title bar that are expected to prevent users from deleting Production sign-up periods for the current date. If set to Yes, a warning appears when you attempt to change the sign-up period to the Production sign-up period for the current date. The title bar also indicates that the selected sign-up period is the current Production sign-up period.
