Installing the APK File

The DriverMate apk file contains the DriverMate files and is provided by your Trapeze representative.

About this task

Most Mobile device management (MDM) systems can be configured to automatically install the apk file and set permission settings.

Procedure

  1. Copy the DriverMateX_22.x.apk file into the Download folder of the tablets (mobile devices) you are using for DriverMate.
  2. On your tablet, go to Settings > Security > Install unknown apps > My Files and select Allow from this source.
    This allows the installation of the apk file from File Explorer.
  3. Open My Files and go to the Internal Storage > Download folder.
  4. Tap the apk file, and on the prompt, select Install.
