Service Infractions
Service Infractions PASS v19 contains a number of improvements.
Items with a * were introduced (partly or in whole) in maintenance releases of previous versions.
Infractions shortcuts (found in the Infractions widget on the Cases tab)
have been renamed. Now, from left to right, they are Show
All, Show Confirmed, Show
Forgiven, Show Undecided,
Select All, Clear All.
The
Lookback Horizon option is now available for
policies with a Threshold Time Period of Fixed Duration and a Violation
Calculation Type of Suspensions.
When
clients are suspended, suspensions can be defined as 0 days (overriding the
default policy suspension period).
In Trip
Booking, if a client has been suspended (using Service Infractions) for a
specific booking purpose, a warning message now appears allowing users to
override the suspension (if the security permission (found in Trapeze6) is granted).
Otherwise, the trip cannot be set up. Additionally, the Suspensions Grid
(found in , on the Certification tab when Service
Infractions-related context properties are enabled) now shows a
comma-separated list of Booking Purposes associated with the Service
Infraction policies for which the client is suspended.
The
Reinvestigate button is now available for cases
in a grace period and waiting to be suspended. After a client has been
suspended, a Modify Suspension button is now
available. This allows users to forgive the suspension and re-define the
Suspension Duration.
Now,
in rolling window policies, when the last sanction is older than the rolling
window duration, cases can only be promoted to the first sanction level.
Now,
PASS is made aware of impending suspensions before they begin and PASS
system users are alerted with a message that shows the client's suspension
dates. This helps prevent clients from booking future trips during periods
that they are known to be under suspension.
Now,
when a transit agency is using EZ-Wallet, Service Infractions can be set up
to look for deductions from the purse that totals a greater amount than the
defined overdraft limit.
Warnings in a Phase can now be re-investigated, and infractions for the
warning can also be forgiven.
You now
have the option to set indefinite suspensions in the
Policies screen. You also have the ability to set
and change the indefinite suspension duration in the Modify
Suspension dialog box.
