Setting Context Properties and Security Key Permissions

Properties and security key permissions in Trapeze6 control the system appearance and behavior of PASS and other Trapeze4 applications.

About this task

You can view and change context properties as needed to control the functionality of modules and overall system settings. Only system administrators should modify context properties. Do not attempt to change a Trapeze6 property value unless you understand the outcome. Trapeze recommends that you contact Trapeze Customer Care before using the following procedures.

Procedure

  1. In the Trapeze6 Client Shell, click Tools > Properties.
  2. In the left pane, navigate to the click the plus sign (+) to the left of folders, following the path specified for specific system password properties or EZ-Wallet properties.

  3. Adjust a specific property by selecting it, clearing it, or typing a specific value for it.
  4. After altering the property, click the Save button:
    Diskette.
  5. Navigate to and adjust any other properties that should be updated.
  6. Click Tools > Security.
  7. In the left pane, click the plus sign (+) to the left of folders and follow the path specified for specific EZ-Wallet security key permissions.
  8. Adjust the permissions as needed.
  9. Adjust a specific permission by selecting it, clearing it, or typing a specific value for it.
  10. After altering the property, click the Save button:
    Diskette.
  11. Edit any other EZ-Wallet security key permissions that should be updated.
