About Bad Trip Locator

The Bad Trip Locator (BTL) is an automated process that finds “bad” trips on runs and moves them to better runs.

Bad trips (for example, trips that require significantly more driving to reach the pick-up and/or drop-off location) can also be moved to a temporary holding place, called the “bump” run. These “bumped” trips can be rescheduled later to another run that is more suitable for the location of these events.

The BTL can be configured to run at pre-defined times on a pre-configured selection of runs or trips through the Job Agent or while a batch is running.
