Sending from Dispatch to Mobile Computers

Information that is sent from the Dispatching screens to mobile computers includes:
  • Electronic manifests
  • Automatic additional trip notifications
  • Automatic cancellation or no-show notifications
  • Event modifications
  • Two-way text messaging

Sending from Mobile Computers to Dispatch

The dispatch functionality on mobile computers may vary from what is covered in this guide depending on your hardware.

Information that is sent from mobile computers to the Dispatching screen includes:
  • Arrive/perform status and times
  • Driver cancel or no-show requests
  • Fare amounts collected
  • Updated passenger information
  • Odometer entries
  • Vehicle location monitoring (GPS/AVL)
  • Speed and direction data
  • Overt or covert alarms
  • Driver logon/logoff notifications
