Adding Points as a New Layer

Specific points on the map can be defined as new map layers.

Before you begin

The Layer Control dialog box must be open.

Procedure

  1. Click New Layer.
    The Select New Layer dialog box appears.
  2. Select Points.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Select the Points check box that appears at the top of the Static Map layers list.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Define the settings for the new layer in the fields on the right frame.
  7. Click OK.
