Changing User Passwords

After a password has been created by a system administrator, users can change their own passwords as often as they want.

The Trapeze6 Client Shell must be open.
If users forget their passwords, the system administrator must create new passwords for them before those users can choose new passwords.
  1. Click File > Change Password.
    The Password Change dialog appears.
  2. In the Old Password field, type your current password.
    When you type passwords, each character appears as an asterisk (\*).
  3. Type a New Password.
  4. In the Confirm Password field, retype the new password.
  5. Click OK.
    If the passwords in the New Password and Confirm Password fields do not match, a message appears prompting you to retype the passwords.
  6. Click the Save button:
