Logging on to MapEdit

To start using MapEdit, you must log on to the system.

  1. Do one of the following steps:
    • Double-click the MapEditbutton on the desktop: Map Edit
    • Click the MapEdit application (MapEdt41.exe) in the Trapeze4/Bin folder.
    The Login dialog box appears.
  2. In the Login and Password fields, type your assigned user ID and password.
  3. To specify a data source and profile, click Config.
    The Configuration dialog box appears.
  4. Select the following information to point to the correct Trapeze4 database that contains the map and transit data. (This information is set up by your system administrator or Trapeze representative.)
    1. DSN - Click the data source name.
    2. Profile – Click the profile name.
  5. Click OK.
  6. In the Login dialog box, click OK.
    The MapEdit screen appears.
