Exporting Locations Data

You can export data on the Locations tab in the Spatial Analysis screen. The exported location file is ASCII comma and quote delimited and ready for import into most applications. Each field of data is separated by a comma.

The Export Data feature is most often used after performing a Point Location Query.
  1. Select the Locations tab in the Spatial Analysis screen.
  2. Click Analysis > Export Data to export the highlighted data on the Locations tab.
The Save As dialog box appears.

The file name, Locations.txt appears in the File name field. You can use this name or give the file a different name. The file is saved with a *.txt extension.

  3. Click Save.
Note: The headers of the fields may not be exported depending on the application to which you export the data.
