Known Issues
Known issues may affect Employee Self-Service functionality at the time of the current release. Workarounds are provided where available.
| Known Issue | Workaround | Planned Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| Document attachments that use the Add URL option can't be viewed in ESS. | Don't add URL documents for ESS. Create an employee message with the URL. The employee can copy and paste it into their web browser. | This is working as designed. |
| Employee document filtering respects document type setting. If documents and document type Display Options don't match, documents may not appear as expected in Employee Self-Service. | Use the default Display Option setting when attaching a new document in the Client Shell. If this value needs to be updated, create a new record for each attached document. | — |
| By design, document bulletins only accept one acknowledgement. If multiple attachments are included in one bulletin, or if attachments are edited after the employee has already acknowledged the bulletin, only the first/original acknowledgement is recorded. | Client Shell users should only attach one document to document bulletins in OPS Bulletins. Best practice is not to edit attachments, but to delete existing bulletins (or to edit the To Date to a past date) and then create new bulletins when needed. This helps to provide an Employee Acknowledgement list where users acknowledging bulletins are more likely to have seen the final attachment content. | — |
| Cards shown on smaller screens don't respect Display Column properties. | — | To be fixed in a future version. |
