Overview
A formal review of the requirements should take place with Trapeze Group before any hardware and prerequisite software is purchased. Other solutions may require consideration since hardware manufacturers and software suppliers upgrade/discontinue their products frequently.
Currently installed hardware and software may be utilized and/or upgraded for the operation of the proposed application software, or another configuration may be more appropriate.
Because some recommendations incorporate relatively new products, provisions should be made with the hardware vendor to confirm additional equipment and/or system software which may be required.
Where utilizing Microsoft software products, the resultant hardware design should be on Microsoft’s Hardware Compatibility List (HCL).
All facility cabling, including patch cables should be tested and certified CAT5e or greater by qualified personnel.
Please consult with your Trapeze Group representative for custom hardware configurations designed to support specific combinations of Trapeze products and/or installations that are concurrently supporting any non-Trapeze enterprise software.
