Virtualization Platforms Supported
Trapeze v19 supports licensed versions of VMware vSphere 6.x and vCenter Server 6.x or Microsoft Hyper-V Server Platform version 2012 or newer.
Trapeze understands that every virtual environment has unique characteristics. Consequently, it is important to consult with your Trapeze representative and Trapeze Network Engineering staff for the recommended virtual machine hardware specifications for your specific Trapeze product in order to avoid Disk, CPU and Memory Oversubscription. Trapeze technical staff will work with your VMware administrator to help with your Trapeze product minimum hardware requirements for deployment in your VMware environment. Server performance should be evaluated on a regular basis to determine over or under utilization of provisioned resources.

General Virtual Base Server Requirements (Minimum Specification)
These specifications may vary based on a number of variables such as: application and provisioned resources list, size of fleet, polling rate, number of calls, number of trip schedules, and organization size.
- Two (2) virtual processor cores, Intel® Xeon® Processor E5 v3 (Haswell) Family or newer
- 8 GB memory
- 100 GB primary disk partition
- One (1) 1000 Mbps Ethernet adapter
- Two (2) virtual processor cores, Intel Xeon Processor E5 v3 (Haswell) Family or newer
- 16 GB memory
- 100 GB primary disk partition
- 500 GB data disk partition
- One (1) 1000 Mbps Ethernet adapter
Virtual server specifications assume that sufficient free resources are available in the virtual environment. Final specifications may vary depending on the number/type of services or applications running per server, number of users/vehicles/connections/transactions per server, and storage/archival requirements.
