Cloning Feedback in COM Investigator Screen

You can replicate information from one feedback entry to a new feedback entry.

  1. Do one of the following steps:
    • Press F3.
    • Click View > Context.
    • Click the Context button: Context button.
  2. Choose the filters to display the feedback you want.
  3. In the Feedback pane, highlight the appropriate feedback entry.
    The record appears in the screen.
  4. Click the Clone Feedback button: Clone Feedback button.
    The following fields are automatically filled in accordingly:
    • Date Received - Current date

    • Date Logged - Current date

    • Time Logged - Current time

    • Time Received - Current time

    • Call Taker - Current logged in COM user

    • Incident Date - Current date if the COM/Customers Feedback settings/Automatic Populate/Incident Date context property is selected. If not selected, the field is blank.

    • Agency Id - Based on the value set for the COM/Customers Feedback settings/Default Agency context property.

    • Sign Id - Based on the Incident Date and Agency Id.

    • Service Group Id - Based on the IncidentDate and SignId

    • Feedback Type - Based on the default Feedback Type setting.

    • Subtype - Based on the default Feedback Type setting.

    • Target Date - Based on the default Feedback Type setting.

    • Feedback Priority Id - Based on the default Feedback Type setting.

  5. Type the necessary information in the cleared fields and edit existing information as required.
  6. Click the Save button: Save button.
The record is saved as a new feedback entry and added to the Feedback pane.
