PASS-Web G3 Context Properties

Context properties allows you to access the centrally defined and maintained property values. This section lists the various categories and sub-categories of PASS-Web properties together with their description.

TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > Enabled If selected, users are allowed access to PASS-Web.
TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > IP

Sets the IP address or the domain name of the Service Shell running PASS-Web. If not set, the IP address and domain name of the current page is used.

TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > Port Sets the port of the Service Shell of the PASS-Web. The default is 0.
TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > UseHttps

If selected, the PASS-Web domain name begins with https instead of http. Select the check box only if your PASS-Web site is using HTTP servers with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to secure transactions.

TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > Password > ResetLinkExpiryTime

Sets the number of hours before the password reset link expires. If a value of less than 1 is set, the default of 2 hours is applied. The default is 2.

TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > Password > TwoFactorVerification

If selected, a second factor is applied to verify that the user is associated with the email address of a request for a password reset. It is selected by default.

TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > Security > CaptchaMode

Sets the type of security validation applied when users fill in forms in order to prevent spam.

The options are:
  • None - If selected, no validation is applied when the form is submitted.
  • ReCaptcha V1 - Deprecated.
  • HoneyPot - If selected, users are not required to complete additional validation fields. (The variables are hidden.)

  • ReCaptcha V2 - If selected, this version of reCaptcha, which requires less user interaction, is applied.

TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > HoneyPot > Constant

Sets a value for the variable that will not be changed when a user submits a completed form, for example, registration. (Honeypot is another security system that aims to detect and counteract spam and unauthorized use of the product.)

TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > HoneyPot > ChangeOnAction

Sets a value for a variable that a user is expected to change when completing a form. The default is 'true'.

TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > Recaptcha > PrivateKey

Private key for the reCaptcha service. Currently not used.
TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > Recaptcha > PublicKey Public key for the reCaptcha service. Currently not used.
Note: The TravelerInformation > Pass > PassWeb > Google > APIKey context property is not used for PASS-Web G3 but is used for earlier PASS-Web versions. It sets the key Google provides for the Google Map Services.
