Correcting Misspelled Words

Select the appropriate option to resolve the spelling errors that may be shown when you run Spell Check.

Choose any of the following options:
  • Select a word to replace the misspelled word from the Suggestions frame and click Change or to correct all instances of the error within the field being checked, click Change All.
  • If the correction is not necessary, click Ignore or for the system to ignore all occurrences of the word as it is spelled within the field being checked, click Ignore All.
  • If the word is unique or commonly used at your site and you want to add it to the dictionary in order that the system does not flag it again later, click Add.
  • If you are unsure of which suggestion to replace the word that the system identified as incorrect, click Suggest. The system highlights the suggested replacement in the Suggestions field.
If there are no spelling errors found, a message appears advising you that there were no spelling errors found.
