Selecting Individuals or Investigator Groups

Instead of entering individual email addresses, you can choose individuals or groups of individuals from the Investigators lists.

Note: Email addresses are defined for investigators in the Investigators screen.
  1. In the Send Email dialog box, click the ellipsis button beside the To field: Ellipsis button.
    The Select Email Address dialog box appears.
  2. From the Look in list, choose Investigators.
  3. Optional: If you have a long list, in the Starts field, type the first characters of the names of the individuals or groups to whom you want to send the email message.
    The first name that starts with the typed characters is highlighted in the list below the Starts field.
  4. In the left field, select the investigator to receive the feedback. To choose more than one investigator, press SHIFT and click the names of the investigators to whom you want to send the message.
  5. Click To.
    The To field shows the email addresses of the selected investigators.
  6. Optional: Repeat step 3 and click Cc or Bcc to choose secondary recipients.
  7. Click OK.
    The Send Email dialog box shows the email addresses of the selected investigators.
