About Configuring ODBC Connections

Each database must communicate with the Trapeze software using an ODBC connection.

Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC) is a standard application programming interface for connecting to different databases using a common language. Trapeze6 supports Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases. To launch the ODBC Data Source Administrator from Windows, in the system folder, click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC). For easy access, create a shortcut to the ODBC executable file.
