Whats New in This Edition

The following changes and additional features have been documented in this version 21 edition of the COM System Administrator Guide:

Context Properties

The following context properties have been added:

  • COM/Customers Feedback settings/Web/Customer Name Validation Pattern - This is used to validate the customer's name in COM-Web.
  • COM/Customers Feedback settings/Client/Customer Name Validation Pattern - This is used to validate the customer's name in the Client Shell and workstation. It is blank by default. No validation is performed unless the property is set manually.

  • COM/Email and Formletter/Use HTML file as FormLetter Template - If selected, users can choose the html template as the email template.

  • COM/OPS/Show Ops Missed Trips. If selected, cancelled trips shown with a (CANCELLED) label are included in the Sch Time dropdown list.

  • COM/Investigation Tool/OPS HASTUS Services/Subscription Key -Subscription key to use, if needed.

  • COM/Investigation Tool/OPS HASTUS Services/Url - URL to the HASTUS Web service

    These OPS HASTUS Services properties support the connection to the HASTUS web service.

Security

  • Added a new security key, COM/Clone Complaint. If granted, the Clone Feedback Icon is enabled. This prevents inadvertent cloning of feedback records.
  • The default complexity rules have been updated in some of the Security context properties.
