Geocoding Stops Based on Street Segment
You can geocode the stop to indicate where it is located in a segment – on the left, center or right side of the road from the perspective of point A (origin).

Click the Use Mouse button:

The Stop Location dialog appears. - Select the appropriate option to indicate on which side of the road the stop is located from point A.
- In the Segments Length field, type the length of the segment.
- In the Dist from Segment field, type the distance of the stop from the segment.

To set the distance of the stops from points A and B:
- In the Dist From A field, type the distance of the stop
from point A.
In the Dist From B field, type the distance of the stop from point B.
- Click and drag the small diamond icon beside the stop on the map and the values in both fields are adjusted accordingly.
- In the Dist From A field, type the distance of the stop
from point A.
- Optional: From the At Street drop-down list, select the street that intersects the street on which the segment is located.
- Click Apply.
- Click Close.
