The table explains the context properties for the Map setup in INFO-Web G3.

Address Matcher Context Properties

The properties marked with an asterisk (*) are the context properties that must be set up for the basic address matching system to work with Trapeze products. You can configure the other properties as they apply to what you require. As you select a property, its description is shown at the bottom of the screen. Please refer to those descriptions for properties that are not included in the following table.

Property Description
MAP > AddrMatch > AddressMatcherService* Address Matcher Service to be called when performing a search for a specific Address Matcher. The default is AddrMatchTp4Classic.

The available services - configuration are:

  • AddrMatchTp4Classic - T4
  • AddrMatchTpLocation - LOC
  • AddrMatchTpBusStop - BUS
  • AddrMatchTpLine - LINE
MAP > AddrMatch > AddressMatcherMatch* Address Matcher Match for the Address Matcher configuration. The options are: 0 - no search for a match; 1 - stop search when a match is found for an address matcher; 2 - use all address matchers and return combined results. The default is 1.
Dependencies must be set. The Configuration - values are:
  • Google - n (for example, 1)
  • Trapeze4 - n (for example, 2)
  • All others - 0
MAP > AddrMatch > AddressManager > AddressMatcherList* List of address matchers used when performing a search. Type them in the order that you want the search performed. The options are:
  • T4 - Classic Trapeze addresses
  • LOC - Locations/landmarks
  • BUS - Bus stops
  • LINE - FX routes (lines)
MAP > AddrMatch > AddressMatcherConfiguration Address Matcher configuration selector
MAP > AddrMatch > AddressMatcherVerify If set to 1, use for selected Address Matcher configuration.
MAP > AddrMatch > AddressMatcherResultColor Color of the selected Address Matcher configuration. Click the Value field and select a color in the color palette.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpAddressPoint > Config > DSN Data source name of the Address Point Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpAddressPoint > Config > Login Login name for Address Point Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpAddressPoint > Config > Password Password for Address Point Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLine > Param > FilterOutExpression Sets the expression for filtering unwanted Line Abbrs in the search results.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLine > Param > PaddedLineAbbrSearch > Enabled If selected, Line Abbr search results will be padded based on the values set in the other PaddedLineAbbrSearch context properties.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLine > Param > PaddedLineAbbrSearch > LineAbbrMustBeginWithDigit If selected, only words that start with a digit are considered as candidates for Line Abbrs.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLine > Param > PaddedLineAbbrSearch > RemoveLeadingPadding If selected, all leading padding are removed from Line Abbrs.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLine > Param > PaddedLineAbbrSearch > MaximumPaddedLength Sets the maximum length for a padded Line Abbr, for example, when searching for "11," the system searches for "11" and "011."
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLocation > Config > DSN Data source name of the Location Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLocation > Config > Login Login name for Location Address Matcher.
MAP > AddrMatch > TpLocation > Config > Password Password for Location Address Matcher.
MAP > Trapeze > Database > DSN Data source name of the map.
MAP > Trapeze > Database > BinPath Path to the map binary files.

Google Maps

The following Map context property is used when you use Google Maps:

MAP > MapAddress > Google > Enable Nearby Search If selected, searches are made near the selected place on the map.
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Enable Autocomplete If selected, autocomplete is performed.
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Params > Result Place Types Comma separated list of Google Place types. If left blank, all addresses are returned.
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Params > Autocomplete > Restrict Results To Countries Sets the limit of the search results returned by Google Address Matching service. A maximum of five countries can be selected. (Countries must be represented using their assigned two-letter ISO 3166-1 Alpha-2 country codes. )
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Params > Result Conversion Mode Specifies how multiple returned address components are converted into the corresponding field in our address structure:
  • First Component Only
  • First Component with Highest Priority
  • Concatenate All Components
  • Concatenate All Components Ordered by Priority
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Params > Address Component Mappings Set the following address components:
  • City
  • State
  • Zip Code
  • PO Box
  • On Street
  • Unit
  • Street No
  • Site Name
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Params > Geocoding > Region ccTLD Sets the region in which Google searches for geocoding requests. (ccTLD means country code top-level domain. It is the code or domain name reserved for a specific country or geographical area.)
MAP > MapAddress > Google > Params > Result Limits Maximum number of results returned from the following Google services:
  • Geocode Service
  • Places Service
  • Autocomplete Service
