About Apps

Apps are published collections of dashboards and reports that originate from a single workspace.

They provide the finalized framework that surrounds your ever-changing data. Apps allow you to access all of the content needed to do your work in one place. The Trapeze ViewPoint team, your supervisor, or a power user will provide you with direct links for one or more apps.

Change made to apps by power users are seen whenever the app is updated. Depending on the updates and your setup, your bookmarks and other personalizations may be affected, and may no longer be available.

About Workspaces

Workspaces allow individuals and teams to collaborate on specific content using ViewPoint. Typically, power users use workspaces to create content and then publish workspace content in an app. Consumers have access to workspaces, but typically do not use them. Apps are the preferred method for consumers to view and work with dashboards and reports.
