What's New with DriverMate

The appearance of the DriverMate screens has been improved to provide better user interaction and communication.

Auto Configuration

The Automated Configuration feature allows administrators to automatically configure DriverMate to their operational needs. There will be no more file management or landing files on devices.

Auto Configuration will streamline implementations and changes to DriverMate settings by providing a more flexible configuration.

Attention: This will only work for agencies that have been granted access to the automated configuration servers and given credentials to authenticate

User Interface Improvements

The major changes that have been applied to the DriverMate interface include:
  • Canned Messages has been redesigned to a sidebar that is integrated into the Message screen. The following functionality has been added to the Message screen:
    • Tap A message bubble to open a sidebar of canned messages.
    • Tap An arrow pointing left to close the sidebar.
    • The Undo button has been updated to An arrow going counter clockwise.
Previously, the Canned Messages sidebar was set by default when the Messages screen was opened. Also, when a canned message is tapped, it will appear in the text area.
