What's New in Version 19

The following changes and additional features have been updated in version 19.

Route Definition

  • In the Stop Pattern tab in the Route Definition screen, if the stop distance is less than 0.01, the decimal numbers are now shown at least with three digits after the decimal point. (This applies only to the Stop Patterns screen.)*
  • When users select all data in the Route Definition screen to copy, they are now able to paste all of the data including the supplementary data into an MS Excel spreadsheet.*
  • When users open another tab or navigate away from the Route Definition screen after making changes on the data, a message now appears asking them if they want to save or discard their changes.

Trip Building

  • The appearance of the colors for trips with Day, Regular, or Exclusive exceptions in the Trip Building screen now appear similar to those applied in the Blocking screen.
  • If users select a comment that has been used in another line, a message now prompts them if they want to continue with the selection. If they click Yes, the selected comment will be copied to the current line and may be assigned a new abbreviation. If the comment already exists in the current line, that will be used instead.
  • The appearance of the colors of exception trips in the Trip Building screen have been changed from bright to pastel similar to how they appear in the Blocking screen:
    • School Exception - Green
    • No School Exception - Yellow
    • Day Exception - Blue

Schedule Editor

  • You can now ease the reading of BSR (bus stop restriction) runs with the Hide Ignored Events checkbox. This will flag all ignored events (typically BSR stops with no time) and hide them.
  • PDF Manifests can now be created in Schedule Editor for currently selected runs. This will help save time in case an MDT goes down and a manifest for a run needs to be printed quickly. Dispatch can quickly generate the manifest without having to open Trapeze reports.
  • You can now perform batch scheduling in the Schedule Editor.
  • You can now view the Fare Summary dialog box for bookings in Schedule Editor (Tools > Schedule Editor > Edit > View Booking Fare Information).
  • In the Schedule Editor's Options tab, there is a checkbox added that allows you to switch the calculation method between EstTime or SchTime. Running the calculation in EstTime will work with the new color property, Shadow Time Color, which shows the time outside of the Max Length of a run in Run Graphical View.
