About PASS-MON and FLEX-MON
PASS-MON
PASS-MON is an interface software that enables real-time data communications between service vehicles and the Trapeze PASS scheduling and dispatch system for organizations that operate demand response transport services.
The system enables the sending and receiving of information such as manifest events, latitude and longitude data from Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) systems, and text messages from and to mobile computers. With mobile computers, drivers can view manifests and perform the day’s trips. Trip data such as vehicle arrival and departure times are automatically transmitted back to the Dispatch center.
As part of the Trapeze suite of integrated transit solutions, PASS-MON ensures that the incoming data is seamlessly and automatically collected into the same centralized database used by Trapeze PASS.
PASS-MON covers the Monitor and MDT Center functionality in the Trapeze4 Workstation.
FLEX-MON
FLEX-MON is an interface that enables real-time data communications between service vehicles and the Trapeze FLEX system for organizations with a route deviation transport service.
Similar to PASS-MON, FLEX-MON also enables sending and receiving of manifest events, latitude and longitude GPS/AVL data, text messaging, and more to a mobile device such as a Mobile Data Computer (MDC) for drivers to view manifests and perform the day’s work. The performed trip data, such as the vehicle’s arrival and departure times, are automatically transmitted back to the dispatching system.
With FLEX-MON, the type of data transmitted includes flexible route-specific events of stops and nodes, as well as the scheduled passengers for whom the vehicle is deviating off-route to pick up for transport.
As part of the Trapeze suite of integrated transit solutions, the incoming data is seamlessly and automatically collected into the same centralized, ODBC relational database as Trapeze FLEX.
