Changing Data Sources

Data sources are defined in Database system properties.

About this task

The Database system properties, which are also on the Profile tab of the Properties dialog box, are used in all Trapeze applications using the Trapeze4 platform. You can change the DSN in the Properties dialog box in the Trapeze 4 workstation or in the MDT Server screen. If you have other Trapeze applications such as Trapeze PASS and you have already set up your user profile, you do not need to reset this property.

Procedure

  1. In the Trapeze4 Workstation, click Tools > Properties.
    The Properties dialog box appears.
  2. On the Profile tab, select Database.
  3. On the Database menu, click MMS Data source name.
  4. In the list on the right frame, select the database to use.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Click OK.
