Setting MDT Center System Properties

The system properties related to the MDT Center pertain to setting up the colors of and sounds associated with and the messages that appear on the MDT Center screen.

Procedure

  1. In the Trapeze4 Workstation, click Tools > System Properties.
  2. Click the Profile tab.
  3. Choose MDT Server.
  4. From the list of options, choose MDT Center.
  5. Under Msg Type color properties, select the Background Color and Text Color properties for the following types of messages and click Apply after each selection.

    Driver Download Trips
    Driver Start Trip out of Time Restriction
    Manifest is Full
    Send Trip/Node Time Out
    General Messages
    MdtSrv Text
    No Communication to Notification Service
    No Communication to Vendor
    No Scheduling Server
    Text Message and Canned Msg
    Veh Connected
    Veh Disconnected
    Veh in ACK Status
    Veh in Emergency
    Veh in NAK Status
    Veh Log On/Off
    Pass Messages
    Driver Download Trips
    Driver Exec Trip Not Hit Manifest
    Driver Fare Change
    Driver Refuse/Accept Trip
    Driver Request No Show/Cancel At Door
    Flex Node Skipped
    Manifest is Full Notification
    Perform Trip Out of Order
    Send Trip Time Out
    Trip Early
    Trip Late

  6. Optional: Under the Msg Type Sound properties, select the sound file to be played for each message type.
    You can request sound files (.wav) from your Trapeze representative.
    The sound file is set as the default for all types of messages.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click OK.
