About Considering Angle Threshold

When calculating whether a Backtracking violation (BT) has occurred, Angle Threshold can also be considered. If the angle formed by the arc created by the client pick-up, intermediate, and client drop-off events is less than the defined value, then a backtrack violation is incurred.

In the following example, if the Angle Threshold switch is set to 45, meaning 45 degrees, then a backtracking violation (BT) is not incurred because the angle formed by the client pick-up, intermediate, and client drop-off events is greater than 45 degrees:
Angle Threshold set such that there is no BT violation
However, in the following example, because the angle formed by the client pick-up, intermediate, and client drop-off events is less than 45 degrees, a BT violation is incurred:
Angle Threshold set such that with a BT violation
