General Properties
The General properties control the format or appearance of data
for storage or display.
To view the General properties, click Settings > Properties > General.

Description
Time Span Format
Span between two times can be displayed in different ways. The default is
Hours and Minutes.
Time Format
Unit of time displayed in the software (in varying combinations of hours,
minutes, and seconds).
Since most transit sites do not end their day at midnight, time is usually set
as HH:MMapx. Apx refers to am/pm/after hours, which allows time to exceed a
24-hour clock. Military time (HH:MM) also accepts times past 24:00 hours. The
latest recommended time is 35:59h or 11:59x.
Date Format
Basic components of displaying the calendar date: M - month, D - day, Y -
year. Select the format to be used throughout the application in the drop-down
list.
Default Timeout
Amount of time set that the system sits idle until the user is logged
out.
