BlockBuster Web Properties

The properties on the list in the Properties screen are specific to BlockBuster Web.

To access the screen, click Settings > Properties > Fixed Route.

Property Description
Blocking > Use Pre and Post Layovers If the toggle is turned on, the layover times built into a deadhead either before it officially starts (Pre) or after (Post) recorded in the Blocking screen in FX are used.
Blocking > Use Deadhead Reliefs If the toggle is turned on, the start and/or end of deadheads can be used as reliefs.
Costing > Cost in Seconds If the toggle is turned on, calculations for costing are based on seconds.
General > Google Analytics Key If set, Google Analytics is enabled. The Google Analytics API is used to measure user interaction with your BlockBuster Web instance.

General > Stops and Nodes Have No Agency If toggle is turned on, stops can be referenced regardless of the agency selected in the context.
General > Prompt on Save If toggle is turned on, a message appears asking you to confirm if you want to save any changes made when you attempt to exit an operation without having clicked Save.
Runcutting > Waits and Travels Parameters - To Time If the toggle is turned on, To Time is used for Waits and Travels parameters.
Runcutting > Line Group Abbreviation For Extra Work Runs Set the LineGroupId of the line group to which runs with extra pieces will be assigned when costing. For normal runs, it is either the line group of the first (regular) piece or the line group of the largest (regular) piece depending on how a Blockbuster parameter is set.
Runcutting > Only Show Services With Trips If the toggle is turned on, both Service and Service Group menus in the Select Scenario dialog only contain services with trips in them. If not turned on, the complete list of services is shown.
Runcutting > Division Dependent Run Types If the toggle is turned on, run types are division dependent.
Runcutting > Use Driver Blocks If selected , driver blocks are enabled.
Runcutting > Uncut Whole Run When Uncutting Piece If the toggle is turned on, the system uncuts all pieces of a run when one piece of the run is uncut.
Runcutting > Line Dependent Dhd If the toggle is turned on, you can associate a deadhead with a line; deadheads become line dependent.
Runcutting > BlockBuster Pattern Characters in WT Comments Set the number of characters by which the route number can be expanded.
Runcutting > Show Comment Symbol [not Abbr] If the toggle is turned on, the symbol you type in the Symbol field is what is displayed in the related main screen instead of the abbreviation for the comment. (The field is configured when adding a new comment in the Comments pane.)
Runcutting > Grouping For Shuttles Grouping of shuttles can be set by:
  • Node
  • Time
Runcutting > Use Standby If toggle is turned on, Standby Time is applied.

Standby Time typically refers to the time operators spend waiting at a work location, for example, a garage for shuttle buses around the yard before proceeding with a run.

Runcutting > Service Group Dependent Deadheads If the toggle is turned on, deadheads are associated with service groups. This applies in cases where different deadheads are used for each service group, that is, different deadheads for the weekday service, Saturday service, and Sunday service.
Runcutting > Highlight Exception on Block Number Only If the toggle is turned on, the runs that have exceptions are highlighted in the Block Num column.
Runcutting > Standby Break Time Sets the minimum standby break time.
