Users have the option to apply the Run Block Optimizer algorithm to process run solutions in BlockBuster. When applied, the algorithm provides the following advantages:

Differences Between Run Block Optimizer and BlockBuster Parameters

There are some important differences between the Run Block Optimizer and Blockbuster parameters.

All the parameters on the Block Optimizer tabs are used only by the Run Block Optimizer algorithm for the Run Block Optimizer runcut. Run Block Optimizer parameters have no effect on a Blockbuster runcut. Likewise, Blockbuster parameters do not have any effect on a Run Block Optimizer runcut.
Run Block Optimizer parameters are not used for costing purposes. The costings of all runs (as displayed on the screen) are determined by Blockbuster parameters.

The parameter values typed on the Block Optimizer Parameters tab are used exclusively to produce an initial runcut.

Note: The values on the Block Optimizer Parameters tab should fall within the Blockbuster maximum and minimum values, otherwise, the Run Block Optimizer runcut may be shown as illegal because runs are costed by the Blockbuster parameters.
