Adding Garages

Create garage records in FX in the Garages screen.

  1. On the main toolbar, click Garages: garage button

    Alternatively, click File > Ancillary Data > Para > Organizations > Garages.

    The Garages screen appears.

  2. Click the Add New button: "add new" button
    The Detail tab opens.

  3. In the Abbrev field, type an abbreviation for the garage.

    The abbreviation must be unique, that is, you can not use an existing one.

  4. In the Name field, type the name of the garage.
  5. In the Capacity field, type the vehicle capacity of the garage.
  6. From the Color field, click the ellipsis button.
    The Color selection dialog box appears.
  7. Choose a color that will help you identify this specific garage when you are viewing garages on the map.
  8. In the Address box, type the location of the garage.
  9. Geocode the address.
  10. In the Phone field, type a phone number.
  11. Optional: In the Notes field, type any comments you have about the garage.
  12. (If Applicable) In the Supplementary Data fields, add the appropriate information you want to include about the garage.
  13. Click the Save button: Save button
  14. To view the list of all garages, open the Select tab.
