Using the Line Trace Option

You can add the pattern trace on the Google Map using the Line Trace option.

  1. Click Task > Route Definition screen or on the main toolbar, click the Route Definition button:Route Definition button
  2. On the main toolbar, click the System Map button: System Map Button
    The map window appears on the right section of the screen. The system map is shown by default.
  3. Click the Google Map button: Google Map button
  4. Click the Patterns tab and select the pattern you want.

  5. On the screen toolbar, click the Edit button: Edit button

    The Edit dialog box appears.

  6. On the Plot tab, click the Line Trace option in the Connect Along frame.
  7. To center the pattern on the map, click the Center button: Center button
  8. Click Begin Plotting.
  9. On the Google Map, click the first point that you want to add to the trace.
  10. Continue clicking the points that you want to add.
  11. On the Plot tab, click Save Trace.
The trace is shown on the map in the color defined for the trace.
