Required Components

Aside from the Trapeze FX build, you will require other files in order for it to work properly.

Make sure to have the following files:
  • Trapeze4 Build, that is, TP4-21.x.x.zip where x stands for the latest version (include hot fixes, if any).
  • Trapeze Runtimes for example, Tp48x_Runtimes.exe
  • Client database backups (This applies to sites with existing data only.)

  • Client Map files: Map.net

  1. In the appropriate drive, create a root directory and a subdirectory to hold the Trapeze4 application files, for example, C:\Trapeze\Bin.
  2. Cut and paste the contents of the zipped files into the Bin folder.
  3. To update the components that are necessary for the build you are installing, click the Tp48x_Runtimes.exe file in the Bin folder. An Install wizard appears. Follow the prompts until you have completed the Runtimes installation.
  4. In the same Trapeze directory, create a Map folder, for example, C:\Trapeze\Map.
  5. Copy the Map.net file of the transit site into the Map directory.
  6. Optional: Remove any files from the Bin folder that are not needed at the site (for example, BusStopImport).
