Applying Comments Using Turn List

Using the Turn List feature, you can apply comments to patterns and stop patterns.

Stop patterns must be created before you can add turn lists to them.
Note: You can also perform the following procedure to apply comments to stop patterns and deadheads using the Turn List feature.
  1. With the Patterns or Stop Patterns tab of the Route Definition screen open, click Route Definition > Turn list.
  2. Select a pattern or stop pattern.
  3. Click Route Definition > Turn list or click Turn ListTurn List button
    The Turn List dialog appears.

  4. Click Save as Comment.
    The turn list data is saved automatically as a comment.
  5. Click Close.
    The system automatically generates an abbreviation for the comment such as TL01 or TL11 which appears in the Comment field of the selected pattern. The System also automatically identifies the comment as a Turn list User Type. IT also adds this User Comment Type to the ancillary data.

  6. Click Close.
    TL stands for Turn List. The 0 or 1 refers to the pattern direction as in Eastbound or Westbound. The last character 1 does not refer to a particular item.
