Reliefs/Breaks Properties

The Reliefs/Breaks properties determine how minimum breaks are costed, when breaks cannot occur and the labels used in the Edit dialog box.

The Reliefs/Breaks tab is also shown in the Properties dialog box of the Runcutting screen.

Property Description
Minimum Break Set the minimum amount of time that the costing routine will consider when looking at breaks. For example, if you decide breaks in the schedule, which are under five minutes are not to be considered, then set this property to 5.
Offset From End Type the value of time from the end of a shift in which breaks cannot occur. For example, if you type one hour (1h) then no breaks can be scheduled in the last hour of a shift.
Offset From Start Type the value of time from the start of a shift in which breaks cannot occur. For example, if you type one hour (1h) then no breaks can be scheduled in the first hour of a shift.
Use Break Reliefs If set to Yes, the label B for break reliefs can be used in the Label field in the Route Definition screen Edit dialog box.
Use Created Pullouts and Pullins If set to Yes, the label P for created pull-ins and pull-outs can be used in the Label field in the Route Definition screen Edit dialog box.
Use Unattended Reliefs If set to Yes, the label U for unattended reliefs can be used in the Label field in the Route Definition screen Edit dialog box.
